A couple of weeks ago I was invited to perform with the illustrious Big Mamma D in Charlotte, NC. I had a fantastic time; the crowd was great and D and her troupe were wonderful to work with.

Friday, July 22nd – The Totally Awesome 80s Variety Show -  I’m very excited about this show! In addition to our fine local performers, we have Peaches De Vine and Stage Slave Gavin of Purrrlesque and Richmond, VA’s The Slomski Brothers joining us as well. It’s also my birthday, so your asses better be there for your spankings. We have some additional fun things in store for this show and some lucky Goonies are gonna take home some cool shit.

In case you all didn’t know, Onca O’Leary is a goddamn genius. What she’s created with this yearly festival is nothing short of magic and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it, both on stage and behind the scenes. I met some amazing people, reconnected with some old pals, broadened my horizons a bit, learned a lesson in time management, gave away some glitter, and poured hot wax on my tits. I’m fairly certain I was living the life of Riley over those three wonderful days.
Many thanks to Madame Onca, Kitty Love, all the volunteers, performers, vendors, and venue staff, Gary, Micah, Patrice, and Manny, my awesome friends, and most of all The Duchess – my rock, my lifeline, my wonder twin – for an amazing weekend… And to DJ Drees and Reverend Jude for being on kid duty and putting up with the late night rehearsing and the constant presence of glitter. I love you both.
